Penalties assessed against 65 regulated entities
Austin TX (9/20/2017) – The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $130,040 against 12 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.
Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: one industrial hazardous waste, three municipal wastewater discharge, two petroleum storage tank, four public water system, one sludge, and one water quality.
In addition, on Sept. 12 and Sept. 19, the executive director approved a total of 53 penalties, totaling $106,611.
