Thermaltake Incorporated is a company that manufactures computers based in City of Industry, California. Thermaltake Incorporated sold or offered for sale high expandability computers and computer monitors in California, from October 2021 to January 2026.

This case was the result of an investigation performed by California Energy Commission (CEC) staff. CEC’s investigation and testing process identified that Thermaltake Incorporated was manufacturing and offering for sale Thermaltake brand high expandability computers and computer monitors that were not marked properly.

To resolve this matter, Thermaltake Incorporated executed a Settlement Agreement with CEC on October 14, 2026, for $110,000.00. The penalty monies are deposited into the Appliance Efficiency Enforcement Subaccount as required in Public Resources Code section 25402.11. Thermaltake Incorporated has also agreed to a compliance plan to add the appropriate marking before continuing to sell in California.
