DEQ fines Portland roofing company for water quality violation

Portland, OR (5/11/2018) —The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has fined commercial roofing company McDonald & Wetle Inc. $6,400 for discharging vehicle wash water containing detergents from its Northeast Portland facility into a catch basin that drains to the Columbia Slough.
