Our Program Project Specialist will join the Remedial Projects Support Unit (RPSU) to support and work with coworkers in a team atmosphere. Tasks include:

·         Preparing property access agreements

·         Preparing Prospective Purchaser Agreements (PPA)

·         Conducting research in support of Potentially Responsible Party (PRP) investigations

·         Responding to Records Center records requests

·         Collaborating on projects with other RPSU team members

·         File and database maintenance

·         Ability to organize, prioritize and perform varied tasks and track multiple deadlines simultaneously in a high volume, fast paced work environment

IDEAL CANDIDATE
Ideal candidate will possess:

·         Associate’s degree or higher in Public Management and Policy, Data Analysis, Environmental Law or related field

·         Paralegal certificate is preferred

·         Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; ability to work with the public.

·         Experience working within a team dynamic to accomplish goals and tasks as a cohesive unit.

·         2-3 years’ legal or administrative experience

·         Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, AZ environmental statutes, codes and rules; the Department’s enterprise database system, including AZURITE and CTS modules; State document management rules, policies and guidelines.

·         Knowledge of data management principles and techniques to assure data entry; real estate and environmental legal language, methods and techniques of legal research

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Gmail/G-Suite
