British Columbia (11/1/2021) – PND operates a soil blending facility which takes agricultural waste, wood chips and soil and makes landscaping and lawn and garden products for professional landscapers and the public. The facility is near both residential and commercial areas and has the potential to generate leachate and fugitive dust.

Although PND has been aware of the need to have an authorization since August 2018, they have failed to do so.

This failure to comply with EMA resulted in an Administrative Penalty of $10,000.
