Denver, CO (08/05/2021) – The State of Colorado’s Water Quality Control Division today announced a Notice of Violation/Cease and Desist Order/Order for Civil Penalty (“NOV/CDO/OCP”) issued to Broadmoor Hotel, Inc. The NOV/CDO/OCP, filed August 5, 2021 alleged that Broadmoor Hotel violated permit requirements at a subterranean dewatering facility in El Paso County. Broadmoor Hotel is required to pay a $2,000 civil penalty, which will be distributed to the State of Colorado’s Water Quality Improvement Fund.
