State of Colorado’s WQCD Reaches Agreement with Vanguard Green Gables Owner, LLC to Resolve Permit Violations

Denver, CO (11/25/2019) – The State of Colorado’s Water Quality Control Division today announced a Compliance Order on Consent (“COC”) with Delaware-based Vanguard Green Gables Owner, LLC resolving permit violations alleged in a Notice of Violation/Cease and Desist Order (“NOV/CO”). The NOV/CDO filed November 14, 2018 alleged that Vanguard Green Gables Owner, LLC violated discharge permit requirements at its construction project in Jefferson County, Colorado. Under the COC, Vanguard Green Gables Owner, LLC will pay a $65,000.00 civil penalty, which will be distributed to the State of Colorado’s Water Quality Improvement Fund. Vanguard Green Gables Owner, LLC completed all required corrective actions and returned to compliance. The COC, filed November 25, 2019, was subject to a 30-day public comment period.
