Penalties Assessed Against 43 Regulated Entities

Austin TX (3/6/2023) – The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $233,210 against 11 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.

Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: three air quality, one municipal wastewater discharge, two petroleum storage tanks, three public water systems, and one water quality.

Default orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: one petroleum storage tank.

In addition, on Feb.28, 2023, the executive director approved penalties totaling $56,740 against 32 entities.
