TCEQ approves fines totaling $373,086 – Penalties assessed against 52 regulated entities

Austin TX (6/26/2019) – The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $321,125 against 21 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.

Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: nine air quality, one Edward’s Aquifer, one municipal wastewater discharge, one petroleum storage tank, six public water system.

Default orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: one petroleum storage tank and two multimedia.

In addition, on June 25, the executive director approved penalties totaling $51,961 against 31 entities.
