Denver, CO (5/6/26) – The State of Colorado's Water Quality Control Division today announced a Compliance Order on Consent (“COC”) with Crossland Construction Company, Inc.and Copperleaf SFR Owner LLC resolving permit violations alleged in Notice of Violation/Cease and Desist Order Number SO-240313-3 (NOV/CDO”). The NOV/CDO filed on March 13, 2024 alleged that Crossland Construction Company, Inc. and Copperleaf SFR Owner LLC violated permit requirements under a general permit at its residential development project in Arapahoe County, Colorado. Under the COC, Crossland Construction Company, Inc. and Copperleaf SFR Owner LLC will pay a $95,000.00 civil penalty, which will be distributed to the State of Colorado’s Water Quality Improvement Fund. Crossland Construction Company, Inc. and Copperleaf SFR Owner LLC completed all required corrective actions and returned to compliance.
