State of Colorado Reaches Agreement with Galt Building Co., LLC to Resolve Water Quality Violations 

Denver, CO (1/30/2024) – The State of Colorado’s Water Quality Control Division today announced a Compliance Order on Consent (“COC”) with Galt Building Co., LLC (“Galt Building”) resolving water quality violations alleged in a Notice of Violation/Cease and Desist Order (“NOV/CDO”).

The NOV/CDO, filed July 2, 2020, alleged that Galt Building violated the Water Quality Control Act and permit requirements at the Depot at Twenty Mile, a residential development in Douglas County. Under the COC, Galt Building will pay a $25,000 civil penalty, which will be distributed to the State of Colorado’s Water Quality Improvement Fund.
